Join Clean Virginia Waterways for the First Annual Paddle for Cleaner Waterways!

On September 27th we will set out for a 1 or 4 mile paddle in Long Creek, Virginia Beach, followed by an after-party at Ballyhoos. The goal is to raise funds for Clean Virginia Waterways’ education and waterway cleanup efforts in Virginia. We may even pick up some floating trash along the way!

This paddle event is open to paddlers of all ages and skill levels. Paddlers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

You may bring your own paddle equipment or rent for a fee of $25. Registration fee is $60. All paddlers must wear proper safety equipment including a PFD (all paddlers) and leash (paddleboard).

Purpose
To raise funds and awareness for Clean Virginia Waterways' mission to prevent and reduce marine debris specifically, plastic pollution, through hands-on action, community education, and awareness. Sponsorship opportunities are available. We are also seeking donations for a silent auction during the After-Party at Ballyhoos. Please contact Terra for more information: Terra@CleanVirginiaWaterways.org.
